Hi! I'm Potato! I'm a 6-year-old, 66 lb sweetheart who was rescued from the county pound just one day before my scheduled execution. I was scared and shut down back then, but now I'm living with my foster family, which includes two other dogs, a 13-year-old boy, and his mom. I love them all dearly, but I dream of having a person or family to call my very own. I'm incredibly affectionate and naturally protective of the people I love. My trainer says I'm the best boy! I'm eager to please, listen well, and already know commands like sit, stay, heel, and come. I walk nicely on a leash with a gentle reminder, although I can get excited when I see other dogs and bounce around because I love to play. People describe me as playful, sweet, cute, and affectionate. I absolutely love to cuddle. Every now and then I get the zoomies, but once I'm home, I'm happiest curling up for a nap—especially if it's on your lap.
