Meet Brody! This handsome 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and couch potato. Brody is a true goofball who loves to play, whether it's chasing toys in the yard or snuggling up with his favorite people. He's even happy to rock a festive costume for a special occasion! Brody has done well with friendly, laid-back female dogs and would also be happy to be your one and only furry friend, as long as he has space to play. He's a gentle soul with people and has enjoyed the company of children, but because of his playful energy, we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8-10+) who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. Brody is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best.
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can safely enjoy zoomies and playtime. He's looking for a family who appreciates his playful spirit and is ready for cuddles after a good adventure. A home with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) would be a great fit. He needs a cat-free environment.

Training & Support
Brody is house-trained and crate-trained, and does wonderfully when left alone in his crate. He walks calmly on a loose leash and is eager to please. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, he's making great progress with calm guidance and positive experiences. He would benefit from a home that provides structure, consistency, and encouragement. His intelligence and eagerness to please make him a fantastic candidate for continued training, like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes.
