Scout is a friendly, social boy, around 1-2 years old, with a heart as big as his smile. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is always up for some playtime fun. Whether it’s running around with friends or enjoying a game with his people, Scout brings joy and enthusiasm to every moment. This happy-go-lucky guy loves attention and affection—he’s the type of dog who will greet you with a wagging tail and a sparkle in his eye. Scout is not just playful, but also a loving companion who will be right by your side through life’s adventures and quiet moments alike. With his cheerful spirit and easygoing nature, Scout will make a fantastic addition to any home looking for a loyal friend and devoted buddy. He has a socialization rating of 2 (meaning he's very social!).

Ideal Home

Scout is a social boy who enjoys playtime with other dogs and his people. He thrives on attention and affection, making him a wonderful companion for an active home.

Ongoing Health

Scout is neutered, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He receives regular heartworm medication, flea and tick treatment, and deworming medication.

Training & Support

As with many rescue dogs, you can assume Scout may need some guidance with housetraining, as he may not have been exposed to it in his past.

Transporation

Scout is currently being fostered in Adair County, KY. We offer transport to Greenwood, IN, Wilmington, OH, Washington, PA, and Mount Joy, PA. To be eligible for transport, your application must be approved, a deposit paid, and a transport contract signed. More information about our transport program can be found at wags.com/transport.
