Spot is a happy boy who absolutely adores his fellow canines and thrives in off-leash playgroups with energetic dogs. He knows his basic commands, is house-trained, and enjoys walks. Originally from a rural setting where he lived outdoors, Spot is now embracing indoor life and is eager to form a strong bond with his forever family. He's a smart and affectionate pup who is excelling in his training and showing great potential!
Ideal Home
Spot would do best in a calm, confident, and experienced home that can provide consistent training and clear boundaries. Ideally, his home would be without young children or small pets, as he can be a bit mouthy and nippy when overstimulated or uncomfortable. He would thrive in a home with a yard or a playful doggy friend who matches his energy. An experienced owner who can offer patience, positive reinforcement, and redirection will help Spot continue to blossom.
Ongoing Health
Spot is vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped. He is currently on daily anti-anxiety medication to support his training progress.
Training & Support
Spot is working with a trainer twice a week and is making excellent progress. He can be mouthy and jumpy, especially when excited or overstimulated, and may nip when uncomfortable. His trainer is actively helping him manage these behaviors through positive reinforcement and redirection, and he's already showing great improvement. He sleeps well in his crate overnight but is still working on daytime crating. He can be a little anxious during car rides, but it is manageable.
