Ranger

Ranger is a sweet and cuddly 7-month-old, 50-pound male Labrador retriever mix who was saved from the streets. He's a loving companion who enjoys gentle walks on the leash and is already kennel trained. Ranger is also house-trained, so he's ready to settle into his forever home with minimal fuss. He's good with other dogs and happily entertains himself with dog toys. While Ranger doesn't have separation anxiety and is happy to be left alone, he does jump when he gets excited and will bark. He could live in an apartment and isn't a picky eater, but he's not interested in playing fetch.

Ideal Home

Ranger would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and cuddles. While he's generally well-behaved, his tendency to jump when excited means a home with older children or adults might be best until he learns to manage his enthusiasm.

Ranger is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Ranger is already house-trained and kennel-trained, which are great starting points! He does jump when excited, so consistent positive reinforcement to curb this behavior will be beneficial. He also barks and while he doesn't have separation anxiety, understanding his cues will help him settle in.
