Hi, I'm Changity! I'm a 3-month-old Dutch Shepherd/American Bulldog mix with a heart as soft as my fur. I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but once I know I can trust you, I turn into the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug you'll ever know. My favorite place to be is right by your side! I'm naturally calm and very loving, and I get along wonderfully with other dogs. Having a confident canine friend would be amazing for me, as they help me feel braver in new situations. I'm still learning about the world, but I'm doing great in my crate and getting braver every day. I just need a patient family to celebrate my small victories with me.
Ideal Home
A calm, patient, adult-only home where I can learn and grow at my own pace. Another friendly and confident dog would be a huge bonus!
Ongoing Health
I have a history of seizures, but they are well-managed with Keppra medication, taken 3 times a day. I also need to stay on a prescription gastrointestinal diet to keep my tummy happy.
Training & Support
I'm still a puppy and learning everything for the first time. I need a family committed to positive reinforcement and helping me build confidence. I can be fearful of children and nervous around men, so introductions should always be slow and I should never be rushed into situations where I don't feel safe.
