Cowgirl

Cowgirl is a quiet, sensitive soul who came to us from a large hoarding case and is now learning what it means to feel safe. She finds comfort in simply being near her people—when someone is in the room, she settles easily and relaxes close by, content just to share the space. Cowgirl does best with companionship and would thrive in a home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches, as she takes reassurance from human presence. Even mealtimes are better with company! She walks fairly well on leash, enjoys enrichment, and is curious about toys, even if they’re not her main focus. Cowgirl's adoption fee is sponsored by a community angel!

Ideal Home

Cowgirl will need a patient, understanding home that can provide structure. She enjoys the company of another mellow pup and would do best with a canine companion to help her gain confidence. If you have another dog, please bring them to the shelter to meet Cowgirl!

Cowgirl is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cowgirl will need management around food and toys with other dogs, and help to continue building confidence. Her quiet loyalty and desire to be near her person make her a wonderful match for someone who values a steady, low-key companion.
