Pepper is a 6-year-old, 31 lb girl who came to us from Alton, IL Animal Care and Control after a life of neglect. She has undergone an incredible transformation in just 10 days, blossoming from a scared and shut-down pup into a loving, gentle soul full of trust. Pepper is truly amazing and ready to find her forever home! She is house-trained, quiet, and sleeps through the night. She also walks well on a leash and is a true "Velcro girl" who loves to be by her people's side.

Ideal Home

Pepper needs another dog for comfort and companionship. She is amazing with kids and friendly with dogs and cats.

Ongoing Health

Pepper's adoption fee of $300 includes vaccinations, spay surgery, microchip, heartworm test, wormer, and any necessary preventions while she was in our care.

Training & Support

While Pepper is still a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and just wants to be loved. With patience and a loving environment, she will continue to thrive.
