Belly Rub Enthusiast, Ball-Chasing Champion, Low-Key Legend
Meet Hector, a 4-year-old, 50-pound brindle beaut who’s mastered the fine art of living life on his own terms. Equal parts laid-back and lively, Hector’s the kind of dog who’s just as happy bouncing around the yard as he is flopped on his back demanding belly rubs like it’s his full-time job (which, honestly, it kind of is).
We’re not entirely sure what Hector’s family tree looks like, but we’re betting on a Heinz 57 blend of mountain cur, boxer and maybe even a little shepherd with those pointy ears. Whatever he’s made of, the combo worked. He’s sturdy, handsome, and built for both backyard zoomies and long couch hangs. A true one-of-a-kind mix, inside and out.
Hector has excellent solo entertainment skills—give him a ball and he’ll happily play fetch with himself like the independent king he is. He’s house-trained, walks well on leash, and knows how to bring just the right amount of energy to the room without bouncing off the walls. He takes treats so delicately, a true gentleman. He’s playful, but not chaotic. Social, but not clingy. Basically, the sweet spot.
Ideal Home
Hector would thrive in a home with a family who appreciate a dog that’s equal parts wise, goofy, and incredibly easy to have around. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both Hector and the family.
