Meet Ranchito Dorito, the 50-pound Freckled Snack King! This charming, approximately 6-year-old boy is the perfect blend of laid-back and playful. He's happy to join you for a walk, hang out in the yard, or settle in for a nap. Ranchito is past the puppy stage but still full of smiles and tail wags, expertly balancing his desire for fun with his love for relaxation.

Ideal Home

Ranchito would be happy as a solo dog or with a medium to low-energy canine companion who respects his space. He's also cat-tolerant, having met a housecat with a polite sniff. He's been great with children, showing gentleness and politeness, so he would do well with respectful kids who understand his boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Ranchito is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Ranchito is a confident and affectionate dog who leans in for pets as his signature move. He absolutely loves snacks and will inhale treats quickly. While he doesn't require constant exercise, he enjoys walks and playtime before settling down for couch time. He has been assessed and received behavior modification as needed by on-staff trainers, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation

Ranchito is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via USDA-certified transport, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
