Dexter is a tenderhearted 2-year-old, weighing 18 lbs. Don't let his white muzzle fool you; he's a young, sweet boy! Dexter can be a little shy at first, but once he knows you're kind, his heart opens wide. Coming from a background where he likely wasn't cared for, he just needs time and love to learn that he is finally home. He craves gentle affection and will blossom in a patient, calm home where he feels safe. Dexter gets along well with other dogs and loves people. Once he trusts you, he is the sweetest little companion you could ask for.

Dexter is heartworm positive and has been treated. He is Chagas negative.

Training & Support

Dexter is a little shy at first and will need time and love to build trust. He gets along well with other dogs.

• The adoption fee is $450, which includes transport costs.
• Dexter is neutered, up to date on all shots, and microchipped.
• Every dog adopted through Tracy's Paws receives Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate), all core vaccines (age-appropriate), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, regular deworming, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip.

Transporation

Dexter is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Chelsea, MI on June 20th.
