Meet Oak Grove Maltese. Greetings from Jean and Charlie Shankles of Oak Grove Maltese, located near Hickory, NC. Our precious Maltese live underfoot and are cherished members of our family. We constantly strive to improve our lines, therefore our AKC dams and sires are DNA and OFA tested and registered. The Embark DNA tests for over 200 genetic conditions and assures they are 100% purebred Maltese. Our lines consist of 100% Korean parentage, as well as ½ Korean and ½ American domestic parentage. To protect our coveted lines, we sell as “pet only” to qualified buyers we interview via Facetime and telephone conversations. At Oak Grove Maltese we take great pride in delivering quality puppies. We breed for good health, temperament, and socialization. We also practice ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to ensure they are well adapted to people, other pets, and daily activities. Your fur-baby will come with the first three sets of vaccinations and dewormer. We allow them to leave at 11-12 weeks of age. We also provide a health guaranteed for 12 months for any congenital defects resulting in death. Oak Grove Maltese is designated by Good Dog as a “Breeder of Excellence” among USA breeders.
