Bennie is a friendly attention-seeker who loves to lean in for pets and be near his favorite people. Despite his size, he's a gentle gentleman who handles all interactions with care and is happy to be included. He's also a brainy boy who knows his basic commands and is eager to please for a treat or a good scratch. And just wait until you see his smile – it's infectious and guaranteed to brighten your day!

Ongoing Health
Bennie is currently heartworm positive, but he has already begun treatment, and the rescue is covering all costs. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He's also kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Bennie knows his basic commands and is eager to learn more. He just needs a loving home to call his own.

- The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet.
Transporation
Take Paws Rescue is based in New Orleans. All of our animals live in foster homes. Specific transportation details will be discussed during the application review process.
