Valentine

Meet Valentine, a 5-year-old Pyrenees/Hound mix with a heart full of love and a spirit for adventure! He's a handsome fellow who was previously adopted from us but has found himself needing a new forever home. Valentine is a high-energy, adventurous soul who truly thrives in a country lifestyle. He's recently moved to "city life" and is finding it quite a struggle, so we're on the hunt for a new home where he has the freedom to run and explore!

Ideal Home

Valentine is looking for a country lifestyle where he has plenty of space to run and explore. He's not adapting well to city life and can become stressed in cramped environments with unfamiliar people and animals. He enjoys having a job to do and loves to explore. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and livestock and is learning to be calm around chickens.

Ongoing Health

Valentine is generally healthy and has no known health conditions to report at this time.

Training & Support

Valentine is housetrained and well-mannered inside. He walks well on a leash. He is described as super loyal and lovable, and he adores attention and a good head scratch! He can even be a great guardian dog! He does have a dislike for the rain and prefers sunny days.

Transporation

Valentine is located in South Carolina. We provide weekly transport to the Northeast. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new companion. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
