Norma Jeane is an approximately 8-year-old, 10lb poodle mix with a spunky and playful personality! She acts like a lively and spirited gal who adores playing fetch. Her ideal day would involve chasing a ball non-stop, with short breaks for naps. She's wonderful with people, especially young children who are respectful of dogs, and she's often found playing with a 4-year-old human companion. While she enjoys playtime, Norma is not a cuddler and prefers to be an independent companion or an active playmate. She has a medium energy level; she's not built for long treks but would enjoy accompanying you on rides, whether in your arms or a stroller. Once indoors with a ball and air conditioning, she's ready for action! Norma doesn't exhibit separation anxiety and is non-destructive when left to her own devices. She gets along well with other dogs, especially laid-back ones, but doesn't like overly energetic dogs that invade her space. She would be content as a solo dog or with another calm canine friend. Norma is looking for a best friend to share life's adventures with.
Ideal Home
An adopter who is committed to playing fetch at least four times a day is required. Norma is not a lap dog and is not looking for a cuddler; she thrives with an active companion.
Ongoing Health
Norma Jeane has successfully completed heartworm treatment. Due to the heartworm treatment, she was not able to be spayed prior to the injections. Wags will work with the adopter on an appropriate spay date before she leaves the rescue.
Training & Support
Norma is not 100% potty trained. She will go outside if the back door is left open, but may have accidents inside if not closely supervised. She is reliably potty trained in her crate.
