Stuart Rocket is a charming Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of love, looking for his perfect match! He's a super sweet boy who adores his humans and enjoys snuggling, playing, and going for walks, especially to the beach. Stuart is friendly to people, whether on a walk or in the home. He's a true "Velcro dog" who enjoys following his favorite people around. Stuart also has some fantastic zoomies and hucklebutt wiggles that are sure to bring a smile to your face! He enjoys a good backyard zoomie and isn't afraid to get a little dirty exploring under the deck. Stuart is a non-destructive boy when left alone, but he will chew on floor items if he feels he isn't getting enough attention. He's also very food-motivated, so keeping counters clear of tempting treats is a must! If you're having guests with food, it's best to give Stuart a little break in a separate room so he doesn't feel left out while also keeping your food safe. He's great with kids and would do best in a home with children aged 5 and up.
Ideal Home
Stuart would thrive in a home where he can be your constant companion. He prefers a calm environment and would do best with a dog that is also calm and not overly exuberant. He is selective with other dogs and needs a careful introduction in a controlled environment. He can get overstimulated by the TV and will bark at it, but this is easily redirected by changing the channel or turning it off. He also has a strong aversion to ceiling fans and will bark at shadows or moving lights, so these will need to be managed in the home.

Stuart is food motivated, which can be a great asset in training! However, he is also a counter surfer, so keeping food out of reach is important. He can also chew on things if he feels he isn't getting enough attention. Being mindful of his need for interaction will help prevent this.
