Toasty

Toasty is a handsome Husky boy who came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. However, we do know he's a certified Good Boy! Toasty is friendly, playful, and smart, and he loves everyone, including children. He's already got some basic obedience down and is working with our trainer, Casey, to build on his skills. We're hoping to introduce him to some W.A.G.S. dogs soon, and while he's neutral around other pups in the kennel, we think he could be dog-friendly with the right canine companion. Like most Huskies, Toasty isn't shy about expressing himself – be prepared for some lively conversations! He also has a preference for cool tile floors on a warm day. Toasty recently attended an adoption event and was a superstar with crowds and children!

Ideal Home

Toasty is a friendly and social boy who loves everyone, including children. He would likely do well in a home with a patient, resident dog, but introductions will be key. He also enjoys cool surfaces, so a home with tile or other cool flooring would be a plus!

Ongoing Health

Toasty is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Toasty knows some basic obedience commands and is currently working with a trainer to further solidify his skills. We are still determining his house-training status. As a Husky, he is known to be "talkative," so be prepared for some vocal communication!
