Petunia

Petunia is a 2-3 year old Rottie mix who weighs about 75 lbs. She's a sweet girl with a squishy face who was found as a stray after the 4th of July. It's believed she was traumatized by the fireworks and overwhelmed by the outside world. Despite her initial fear, she's a work in progress and we believe she'll blossom into a beautiful ambassador for her breed with the right guidance. Petunia knows basic commands, is crate trained, and loves to play fetch with her foster brother. She's intelligent and will thrive with consistent training and socialization.

Ideal Home

Petunia needs a home with adults who are committed to ongoing training. She will not do well with children at this time. She has not been tested with cats. A well-fenced yard is a must, and underground fencing will not be considered.

Ongoing Health

Petunia is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Petunia is still learning to navigate the big world and can be scared of strangers, but she's adjusting more quickly each day. She needs continued training and socialization to build her confidence.

• A securely and visibly fenced yard (5ft+) is required.
• She would do best as the only pet in the home or with a male dog of similar size.
• A sturdy, safe crate (no wire crates) is also required.

Transporation

Petunia is being fostered in the Port Orchard, WA area. Meet and greets will take place there. We are considering homes in Washington and possibly Northern Oregon.
