Stan

Hi there! I'm Stan, a handsome and confident 6-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love to give. My lineage is a bit of a mystery, but we suspect I'm a wonderful mix of German Shepherd, Malinois, and perhaps some guardian breed, which would explain my unique double dew claws! I sport a stunning golden-orange coat, complete with charming "sugar lips" and playful white eyebrows. I was found in Tulare, and while my past is a bit fuzzy, I'm focused on my future adventures. I'm an easy-going guy who enjoys car rides, exploring new places, and meeting friendly people. I generally keep to myself around other dogs, and I'm a pleasure on walks – no pulling here! I'm healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and know basic commands, even offering a paw-shake on cue.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family who can provide leadership and guidance. As a big, confident boy, I need owners experienced with large breeds. Due to my enthusiasm for treats, I would do best in a home with older children.

I'm super healthy and active, with a great ability to chill out.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained and crate-trained. I know my basics and can shake paws. I do have a habit of "counter surfing" for food, so keeping treats out of reach is key. I also have a signature move of walking between legs, which we're working on! I'm a very enthusiastic treat taker, so care should be taken around my mouth when offering them.
