Pablo (Neutered) (Photos 2212025) (In Foster to Adopt)

Pablo is a charming one-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a striking snow-white coat, a unique brown patch on his lower back, and a long, expressive tail. His adorable chubby face, mesmerizing eyes, liver-colored nose, and large, semi-erect ears give him a distinctive look. Pablo found himself at HSOV on February 21, 2025, after being discovered as a stray. Despite a holding period, no owner came forward to reclaim him. He's a friendly and outgoing boy who absolutely adores attention and has a sweet disposition. Weighing in at 47 lbs, Pablo underwent neutering on March 4, 2025, and received his rabies vaccination. He spent time in foster care, where he showed great promise, before returning to HSOV. His foster family noted he is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps soundly in bed. Pablo also demonstrates some separation anxiety, a trait his foster family is working on.

Ideal Home

Pablo would thrive in a home where he can be the sole male dog or with a female dog. He needs a home that understands he is still a puppy at heart and is willing to provide guidance and patience as he continues to learn. A home without any male dogs is strongly preferred due to a past incident.

Ongoing Health

Pablo is a neutered male who has received his rabies vaccination.

Training & Support

Pablo is house-trained and crate-trained. He does experience some separation anxiety, which his foster family has been actively working on. He also needs to be the "man of the house" to truly settle in. Continued positive reinforcement and consistent training will help him succeed.
