Meet Willie - our long-legged, fence-climbing, bowl-carrying goofball! Willie is a two-year-old Coonhound mix, possibly with a splash of Great Dane, because have you seen those legs?! He is approximately 2.5 years old and weighs 75 lbs. Willie is fully vetted. He's tall, lanky, and moves like a baby giraffe who just discovered zoomies. His legs seem to go on for miles, and he hasn't quite figured out what to do with all of them, which just adds to his charm.
This boy is full of personality. Willie loves people and is happiest when he's getting attention, tossing a ball around, or showing off his silly side. Fetch? Yes, please. Playtime? Absolutely. Being your shadow? Even better.
Now, let's talk about his special talent... Willie can escape a fence like it's an Olympic sport. Climb it? Sure. Jump it? No problem. If there were gold medals for backyard gymnastics, Willie would be a champion. He'll need a very secure yard or a home committed to supervised outdoor time, but what he lacks in containment skills, he makes up for in entertainment.
One of the funniest things about Willie? Mealtime. Instead of eating from his bowl like a normal dog, he carefully picks it up, carries it over to a blanket, sets it down just so, and then enjoys his meal like a distinguished, and slightly ridiculous, gentleman. It's his world; we're just living in it. Willie is goofy, lovable, athletic, and full of heart. He's looking for a home that will laugh at his antics, keep up with his energy, and love him for the big, silly boy he is. If you're ready for long legs, big laughs, and a whole lot of personality, Willie is your guy.
