Meet Oakley! This handsome 68lb Terrier/Pitbull mix was born around December 16, 2021. Oakley is the sweetest boy who will follow you around like your shadow, always wanting to be in the same room. He's a very smart and independent pup who already knows "sit" and "get on your bed." His foster mom says walks are his favorite thing, and he's a pro at leash walking, though he sometimes needs a reminder to "slow down." Oakley can tolerate other dogs, but he would likely be happiest in a home as the only dog. He does have a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing cats and squirrels. Despite a tough start in life, having been found as a stray in rough condition with an injured ear, Oakley is incredibly sweet and ready to shower his new family with love and tail wags.
Ideal Home
Oakley would thrive in a home where he can be your constant companion. He'd prefer to be the only dog in the household and would need a yard where he can safely chase after squirrels.
Ongoing Health
Oakley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He arrived as a stray with an injured ear and was emaciated, but he has since recovered and is ready for his forever home.
Training & Support
