Ideal Home
Lemon would prefer a home where she isn't left alone for too long, as she definitely misses her fan club when they're gone. She'd be fine in a quiet apartment, but would really love a home with a yard where she can sniff the roses. She's a total "Daddy's Girl" in the making!
Ongoing Health
All vetting is included in the adoption fee, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Lemon is crate trained and knows "sit." She is highly motivated by treats. She knows the front door is the portal to the potty and is ready to go as soon as the leash is on. She is aloof and independent with other dogs, often preferring to sniff the grass or hang out by her people rather than join in on high-speed wrestling matches. She would be a fantastic match for a home with another medium to low-energy dog who respects her space, but she's also perfectly content being your one and only queen! While she hasn't spent much time around cats, a kitty sleepover can be arranged to see if she's ready for a purring roommate.

Lemon is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters.
