Smokey

Meet Smokey! He's a 2-year-old, 53-pound male Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and is eagerly awaiting his forever home. He's a super sweet boy who just wants love and attention! Smokey is a quick learner and is described as kind-hearted, affectionate, and gentle. He's a total couch potato who's more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day and is looking for a home where he can provide gentle companionship.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a low-traffic home due to his shyness with new people. He would prefer a home without cats.

Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash, though he can pull slightly when initially excited on walks, he settles down quickly. He can be a little nervous around strangers and might bark out of excitement, but is easily redirected. Smokey does have some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when left alone, but he does stop and does not tear up anything. For this reason, he would be best suited for someone with a house rather than an apartment, and would ideally thrive with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day. Smokey is not a huge fan of the crate and prefers not to be shut inside one.
