Rocky is a male Jack Russell Terrier mix looking for a quiet, patient forever home. Born in August 2013, he has been waiting at the shelter since August 2018 and weighs about 20–25 pounds. He bonds especially well with women, but likes men, too.

Ideal Home

Rocky would do best in a home without children or other dogs. He is cautious around people, becomes overly excited around dogs, and may be frightened by sudden movements. His caregivers can introduce him to cats at the shelter to assess how he responds.

Ongoing Health

Rocky has been vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. He will be neutered before going to his forever home and must test heartworm negative before adoption is completed. His birth date and age are approximate.

Training & Support

Rocky can learn to trust his people with time and patience. He is available to meet at the shelter.
