Hey there! I'm Piper, a sweet pit bull/Aussie mix who's just two years young and weighs in at a petite 33 pounds. My heart is as big as they come, and I absolutely adore my sister Lilly, whose comfort and love mean the world to me. Because of our special bond, I'd do best in a home that already has another dog to be my friend. I can be a little shy and tend to freeze up when I first start walking on a leash, but with a patient and gentle hand, I quickly find my confidence and get moving!
Ideal Home
I absolutely adore children and get along wonderfully with other dogs. While I haven't met any cats yet, we can certainly arrange a test if needed. My favorite things include belly rubs, butt scratches, chewing on bones, and chasing tennis balls. I thrive in an environment where love is freely given and I feel safe and secure.
Ongoing Health
I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before I head to my forever home.
Training & Support
I'm a quick learner and respond well to gentle corrections. I'm already crate trained, which is a great start! My leash skills are still a work in progress, but I'm improving with guidance. Potty training is next on my list, and based on my brother's success, I'm confident I'll master it quickly. I do tend to jump up when I'm excited, but it's never out of aggression, and I'm eager to learn better manners with your help!
