Meet Kai, a joyful 4-year-old shepherd mix who weighs 47 pounds and is eager to find her forever home! This sweet girl is full of life and greets everyone with enthusiasm. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes and people of all ages, often showing her excitement with happy zoomies and playful barks. Kai also enjoys her toys and can entertain herself when not romping with her canine pals. After a good play session, she's happy to settle down for pets, belly rubs, and snuggles.

Ideal Home

Kai would be a perfect addition to an active household that can keep up with her playful spirit. She has done wonderfully with children and thrives on their affection. Loud noises or storms can make her a little nervous, but she settles well with love and reassurance.

Training & Support

Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when she sees another dog, as she's just excited to make new friends. While she can be left unattended, crating is recommended for any new dog during their acclimation period.

Transporation

Kai is currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Our rescue can arrange transport out of state once she is matched with an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport after approval.
