Meet Kovu! This handsome Lab mix is about 6 months old and brimming with puppy charm. He's friendly, curious, and incredibly loving, always eager to see what the day holds. Kovu thrives on spending time with his people, whether he's exploring, playing with his dog pals, or cuddling up for some affection. He's a smart pup who's keen to please and enjoys learning. Like most puppies, he's still mastering his manners and training but is making excellent progress. Kovu is doing well with leash training and is learning that going to the door means it's time for a potty break outside. He settles nicely in his crate, though he might need a little gentle encouragement to get in sometimes. With consistent, positive reinforcement, he's building confidence and good habits. This sweet boy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with. He's also good with cats, even if he sometimes wishes they'd join his puppy games. His friendly and playful spirit makes him a wonderful companion for an active family. Kovu has lots of energy and will benefit from ongoing training, regular exercise, and plenty of love, and in return, he'll offer endless affection, puppy kisses, and the joy of watching him grow into an amazing adult dog.
Ideal Home
Kovu would do best in an active family where he can receive continued training, regular exercise, and lots of love.
Ongoing Health
Kovu will be current on vaccinations and deworming at the time of adoption. He will also come with a pre-scheduled appointment at our vet to be spayed or neutered, which the adopter is obligated to keep. He will be microchipped at this appointment.
Training & Support
Kovu is still learning his manners and training, but he is making great progress. He is doing well with leash training and learning about potty breaks. He settles nicely in his crate. Consistency and positive reinforcement will help him continue to build confidence and good habits. Potential adopters should be prepared for the time and patience required to raise a puppy, as foster puppies are typically not potty trained.
