Nala

Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! Nala is a 20lb Chihuahua mix with an estimated birthday of February 12, 2023. She spent weeks wandering the streets, making a little home out of a cardboard box and blankets, and following people with the hope of being chosen. Now safe and thriving in foster care, she’s ready to find the forever home she’s always deserved. Nala is full of personality – playful, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy. She loves her toys and will even toss them in the air to play fetch all by herself!

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys a fun, affectionate companion and will continue building her confidence. Another dog would be a bonus but isn't required.

Ongoing Health

Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Nala is 95% potty trained, fully crate trained, and already knows "sit" and "crate." She is currently working on "stay/wait." She walks on a leash but is still learning to stay focused because everything around her is so exciting. Nala can be a little shy at first, but if you give her about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, she will quickly become your loyal little shadow, following you everywhere and soaking up all the love.

Transporation

Nala is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available out of state to Eastern states weekly, and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates along the way.
