Keri is a sweet, well-mannered girl who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a rough start but was rescued and made her way to us. Keri was adopted in 2020 but sadly lost her home through no fault of her own. She's a generally lazy dog who needs a little encouragement to be more active. Keri is significantly overweight, partly due to a thyroid condition, but also because she's been overfed and under-exercised. She's good with dogs her own size but can be indifferent to them, and she's not a fan of cats. Keri is looking for a moderately lazy owner who will ensure she gets a walk or two a day and is fed responsibly. She knows many commands and would be a devoted companion to a single person who wants a loyal sidekick. Keri is quiet and enjoys low-key activities, making her the perfect partner for watching true crime documentaries.
Ideal Home
Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who can provide her with consistent daily walks and responsible feeding. She would prefer a home without small, yippy dogs or cats. Keri is looking for a primary person to be devoted to and would do best as the sole pet if not with a dog her own size and temperament.
Ongoing Health
Keri has a thyroid condition and is currently overweight. She is being managed for her thyroid and needs a dedicated owner to help her reach a healthier weight through diet and exercise.
Training & Support
Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her main needs are consistent feeding and regular exercise to help her lose weight and become more active.
