Morty Mello the Marshmallow Sweetheart

Morty Mello is a giant-headed, marshmallow-soft bundle of relaxation! He’s a pittie mix, approximately 6 years old and weighing 75 lbs. Morty has the face of a teddy bear and the soul of a cozy throw pillow. He’s the kind of dog that makes you want to slow down, snuggle up, and enjoy the simple things in life. He’s gentle, easygoing, and absolutely melts into your lap.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best in a home with another dog of similar size and temperament – a chill companion who also enjoys a relaxed pace of life. If a canine friend isn't in the cards, Morty is perfectly happy as a solo pup, soaking up all the attention from his people. He would also thrive in a kitty-free environment. A backyard for sunbathing and sniffing would be a dream, but he’d also be content in an apartment, as he's quiet in his crate and walks beautifully on leash.

Morty is believed to be about 6 years old. As with all rescues, his exact age and breed mix are a mystery.

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on leash and is a quiet boy in his crate. He's a low-maintenance companion looking for love, a comfy nap spot, and a family to call his own.

Morty is located in Texas. Wags facilitates nationwide adoptions using a USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
