About Nova

Meet Nova!

Nova is a spirited nine-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heart of pure joy and an abundance of affection to share. This 75-pound bundle of love, hailing from Charlotte, NC, greets everyone, both familiar and new, with enthusiastic kisses and a tail wag that could power a small town! She's never met a stranger, only future friends, and she excels at making her people feel special.

Nova loves to play with her favorite squeaky llama toy and is proud to show off her "sit" and "shake" commands. She thrives on routine, enjoying two good walks a day, consistent meal times, and a cozy nighttime ritual. While she adores couch snuggles and belly rubs, she can get into a bit of mischief with unattended snacks or curious mulch piles. To ensure her success when left alone, supervision and a sturdy crate (a peanut butter-filled Kong is highly recommended!) are key.

Ideal Home

Nova would do wonderfully in a home with older children and active caregivers who can keep her engaged, exercised, and loved. She needs to be the only furry friend in the household, as she prefers to be the center of attention.

Ongoing Health

Nova has a sensitive stomach and may experience stress when left alone.

Training & Support

Nova is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She has a bite history involving two incidents with other canines, so a pet-free environment is essential for her safety and well-being.
