She's a loyal, affectionate, and devoted companion with a gentle heart, and she's eager to form a deep bond with her new family.
Ideal Home
Idgie would love a home with another dog her size to be her canine companion. She's also great with cats and has been around children of all ages, always remaining calm and gentle. Because Idgie can be a bit of an escape artist, a yard with at least 6-foot fencing is recommended.

Idgie is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Idgie is fully housebroken and crate trained and can stay in her crate for up to nine hours. She sleeps peacefully through the night without a peep. Idgie does show some resource guarding around her meals, so she is fed separately from other pets. She has no issues with treats, toys, or bones, just her food bowl. With simple management at mealtime, she continues to thrive and show what a well-mannered girl she is. Idgie can have occasional bursts of zoomies but isn't high-energy all day. She enjoys playtime but equally loves naps and cuddling. She's smart and a little serious at first, but incredibly loving once she feels secure.

Transportation
Idgie is available for transport to her forever home every few weeks once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
