Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who weighs approximately 50 pounds. She's loving, smart, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered, with a heart as big as her smile. Ivy adores people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a paw shake, always ready to soak up affection. She has a calming effect on other dogs, and her best buddy Roxas, a German Shepherd who usually doesn't like other dogs, adores her. Ivy walks beautifully on a leash and has excellent manners both at home and in public. She easily adjusts to new situations and is happy to be by your side, whether you're enjoying a quiet evening or heading out for an adventure. Sadly, Ivy ended up in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own, but her sweet temperament helped save her life. Now, she's ready for a happy ending with a forever family who will shower her with the love she so willingly gives.

Ideal Home

A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy has excellent manners and walks beautifully on a leash. She is well-behaved at home and in public.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Texas but can be transported anywhere in the United States and Canada. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters, with fees ranging from $200-$300 for the East Coast and $250-$350 for the West Coast.
