Cami is a female, possibly a Terrier/Lab mix, who just celebrated her first birthday on March 15th. Weighing around 35 pounds, she's a special girl who needs a very patient and loving home to help her feel safe and cherished. Cami is sweet-natured, but shy. You can really see her sweet disposition in the YouTube video linked below. Her sister was adopted in the fall, and Cami has sadly regressed into her shell since then. She truly shines when she's around another dog and would benefit greatly from having a playful canine companion in her new home. She also enjoys one-on-one attention.
Ideal Home
Cami would thrive in a quiet home environment. If there are children, they should be over 14 years old. She will need a fenced yard as she may be a flight risk, especially in the beginning as she learns to trust her new family.
Ongoing Health
Cami is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), has been dewormed, and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Cami needs some work on leash walking. She doesn't go to the bathroom in her kennel at night, which suggests she may be house-trained.
