Ziggy is a charming 4-year-old, 11-pound Shih Tzu with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for a forever home. Rescued from a challenging hoarding situation in Puerto Rico, Ziggy has shown incredible resilience and a wonderful capacity for trust despite his difficult beginnings. He is now thriving in foster care and eager to experience the good life he deserves.

Ziggy is the perfect blend of companion and cuddle buddy. He loves spending quality time with his people, lounging around the house, and soaking up all the affection he missed out on in his early life. He’s fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, and even potty trained, boasting wonderful house manners. Ziggy is a social butterfly who gets along beautifully with everyone he meets – he loves other dogs, does great with cats, and is gentle and friendly with children. His easygoing nature makes him a fantastic fit for most any household.
