August is a sweet, gentle 2-year-old, 56 lb Pit Bull mix who came to us from a difficult situation. He was nervous around people and loud noises, and he'd never been taught to walk on a leash. With patience and kindness, August is making great strides and showing his true, loving nature. He gets along well with the other dogs he came in with.

August would do best in a home that understands he needs a slow and gentle approach as he continues to gain confidence.

August is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

August is not yet house-trained and will need continued guidance and patience to learn leash walking.
