Fergy is an easy-going, mannerly boy who is a social love-bug with a wiggly body that wants to sniff around and solicit pets. He is good with other dogs and enjoys off-leash doggy playgroups. He is leash trained and knows "sit." Fergy seems to enjoy socializing with other dogs, often approaching them for gentle interactions. This laid-back boy has been observed taking breaks to relax on his own, showing a nice balance of social and independent behavior. He's a 3-year-old, 60 lb Bully breed blend who is curious about the world around him. While he may pull a bit on the leash, Fergy's gentle nature and easygoing attitude make him a delightful companion. He is at risk for euthanasia.

Ideal Home

Fergy could live in a home with another calm or playful pooch. He has not been tested with cats or other small animals. Shelter staff feel he possibly could be fine with respectful, mannerly children, but this has not been tested.

Ongoing Health

All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

A round of positive reinforcement training classes would be most beneficial to Fergy to help him brush up on his basic commands.
