Sully

Sully is a sweet and gentle Labrador mix, around 3-4 years old and weighing approximately 50 lbs. He has a heart full of love to give and a beautiful smile that makes him look like the happiest dog in the world! Despite a congenital hip condition that means he can't be on his feet for long periods and needs a calm lifestyle, Sully enjoys car rides immensely, behaving wonderfully and taking in the scenery. He's a social and friendly boy who trusts easily and enjoys being around people and other dogs, though he's not a fan of constant physical contact. Sully is an easygoing companion who will deeply love his family and thrives in a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably and receive plenty of affection without the need for strenuous exercise.

Ongoing Health

Sully has a congenital hip condition. After evaluation by a specialist, surgery is not an option.

Training & Support

Sully is not house-trained. He may need an adjustment period and patience to adapt to a new environment. Experience with dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, is recommended.

• Photos and videos of your home are required to ensure your future furry friend will be safe.
• If it's a match, we'll call or video chat to introduce you to the pet and conduct a virtual home tour.
• 1-2 references will be spoken with.
• If approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.

Transportation

Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport company organizes scheduled trips (3-4 per year) with dedicated teams to collect adopted pets and escort them across the border. You will receive real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group during the journey.
