Ramen Noodle, or "Noodle" as he's affectionately known, is a 49lb Chow mix with an estimated birthday of June 18, 2019. This handsome boy has a story as unique as his name. Found wandering the streets of Houston's Chinatown, his rescuers knew a dog this special deserved a name that would be just as memorable. Today, Ramen Noodle is safe, loved, and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. Noodle has happily traded life as a stray for the simple joys of being a beloved companion. He enjoys neighborhood walks, keeping a watchful eye on squirrels, playing with his toys, and riding in the car. Whether it's an adventure around town or a relaxing day at home, he's happiest when he's included.

Ideal Home

Ramen Noodle would thrive in a home where he feels safe, loved, and included. He enjoys being part of the family and doesn't need constant entertainment or training sessions.

Noodle is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Noodle is house trained and kennel trained. He is also dog friendly and people friendly, with a wonderful personality that strikes the perfect balance between independent and affectionate. He's content to relax on his own but also enjoys spending time with his people.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
• Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog.
• Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
• Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
• All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!

Transporation

Noodle is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state and is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states.
