Bullseye is a handsome 6.5-month-old Retriever/Pit Bull mix with an estimated DOB of January 2026. He currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to reach a large size when fully grown. This gentle giant was rescued from a rural area outside of Houston, Texas, along with his mother, Wanda, and his siblings. He's the biggest pup of the litter, but also the most introverted, preferring to observe before joining the fun. Bullseye is a sweet and thoughtful boy who loves dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling up with his people. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings and other dogs. He has been around children and has done well. Bullseye is potty-trained, but may have a few accidents as he adjusts to a new home. He is also crate-trained and is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow with consistent positive reinforcement and training. We prefer a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help mentor him, as he learns best from canine role models. Homes without another dog will need a solid plan for continued socialization. We also prefer homes where someone isn't routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time, as he will benefit from regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training, and human interaction.

Bullseye is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been microchipped.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty-trained but may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine. He is crate-trained and is working on leash walking and basic obedience. Continued positive reinforcement, consistency, and socialization are key to helping him mature into a confident, well-balanced adult dog.
