My Shayla

My Shayla is a sweet and playful puppy who is ready to find her forever home! She's a medium-sized mixed breed with a beautiful coat and a heart full of love to give. Shayla is eager to learn and would be a wonderful companion for an active family.

Ideal Home

Shayla would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, playtime, and training. She's a young dog with lots of energy, so an active lifestyle would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Shayla will be microchipped and will receive all necessary vaccinations for her age. If adopted before she is 4 months old, we will coordinate with you for her spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccination to be completed at our shelter free of charge when she reaches the appropriate age.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Shayla will benefit from consistent training and socialization. We encourage positive reinforcement methods to help her learn and grow into a well-behaved companion.

• Adoptions are first come, first served at the shelter.
• No pre-adoption application or paperwork is required; everything is completed at the shelter.
• Please bring an open heart, cash or check for the adoption fee, and transportation items such as a leash and a crate or carrier.

Shayla is located at Ruston Animal Control, 1212 McAllister St, Ruston, LA 71270. Our adoption hours are Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. If these hours do not work for you, please contact us.
