Copper

Copper is a 3-year-old Boxer mix with a goofy, playful personality. He's full of life, always ready for an adventure, and has a way of making even the simplest moments entertaining. Whether he's carrying his favorite tug toy, bouncing with excitement before a walk, or making hilarious Boxer faces, Copper is guaranteed to keep a smile on your face. Copper loves long walks, playing tug, exploring new places, and spending time with his people. While he may be a little shy when meeting someone new, it doesn't take long before he's asking for attention and making friends. Once you're part of his circle, he's an affectionate, loyal companion who wants to be involved in everything you do. Copper entered the shelter at six months old and spent most of his life waiting for someone to give him a chance. Despite his past, Copper has never lost his joyful spirit or his love for life.

Ideal Home

Copper would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves.

Copper is still gaining confidence around other dogs due to missing out on early socialization while growing up in the shelter.
