Pollito

Meet Pollito, a charming 4-1/2-year-old Pitbull-Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love to give! Pollito came into his previous owner's life as a puppy during the early days of Covid. Unfortunately, due to changes in his owner's living situation and work schedule, Pollito now needs a new home where he can receive the attention he truly deserves. He's a medium-sized fellow who loves to snuggle up under the blankets for a cozy nap.

Ideal Home

Pollito would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of quality time and affection. He needs a family that can offer him patience and help him feel secure. He enjoys playing with younger children and does well with dogs smaller than himself. However, he can be intimidated by dogs his size or larger, and may react with growling and showing teeth, though this is usually due to him feeling scared. He also has a difficult time playing with cats or dogs that are his size or larger.

Ongoing Health

Pollito is a healthy boy and is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Pollito has received some formal training and already knows commands such as Sit, Down, Off, Come, and Leave it. With continued patience and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to blossom.
