Meet Yeager, a Doberman who is tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome! He's an oblivious bundle of happiness, always ready to go and incredibly confident. Yeager is a full-time project dog who is selectively dog-social, doing well with females and smaller to medium-sized males. He has also done well with cats and older children.

Ideal Home

Yeager needs an experienced, active, and consistent human or humans who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary. Previous Doberman or working-breed experience is strongly preferred.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned, but awareness for deep-chested breeds is required due to his tendency to sprint and jump after eating.

Training & Support

Yeager is not untrainable but requires someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. He has accidents indoors and will mark. He does not understand or respect human correction, learns patterns quickly to his advantage, and will outmaneuver routines, especially concerning food. He rarely settles, especially around other animals, and destroys beds and feeders. He eats fast and needs immediate exercise.
