Meko

Meko is a charming girl, estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighing around 50lbs. She's a spayed female who is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and preventatives. Meko recently made the journey north from Arkansas to New Hampshire after completing treatment for heartworm disease, and she's now ready to find her forever home!

Ideal Home

Meko has shown herself to be a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with both dogs and a dog-savvy cat in her foster homes. She's playful with canine friends who enjoy a good romp, but also knows when to give them space. While she's curious about cats, she's never chased them and is very tolerant, even when the cat grooms or swats at her. Meko is friendly with everyone she meets, including children, and has proven herself to be a hit at doggy daycare, an off-leash bar, and even a baseball game! She loves to shower people with kisses, cuddle up on the couch, and soak up the sun.

Ongoing Health

Meko has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is now on all the necessary preventatives.

Training & Support

Great news – Meko is already potty trained! She's accustomed to being crated while her foster is at work, and has also had free roam of the house. To help her adjust and prevent any shoe or remote control "accidents," a crate might be the best option when she's unsupervised.
