Float

Float is a friendly and easygoing 7-8 year old, 53 lb boy who was found as a stray and spent a heartbreaking 125 days in a North Carolina shelter. When that shelter faced closure, we were able to get him out just before his fate was sealed. His first vet visit revealed he is partially blind, has arthritis in his back legs, and is likely older than previously thought. Despite these challenges, Float’s disposition has not dimmed! He is good with children, cats, and dogs, and he loves playing with other dogs and going on sniffaris. While he may bump into a corner or two in new spaces, he quickly maps out his surroundings and navigates his home with ease.

Ideal Home

Float is a wonderful companion who is friendly and easygoing with strangers, children, dogs, and cats. He would love a home where he can enjoy playing with other dogs and going on leisurely sniffaris.

Transporation

Float is fostered in Abington, MA, and is available for local or out-of-state adoption. Adopters must be able to travel to meet him.
