Mary Ann is a year-old, 52.80 lb spayed female Akita mix who is perpetually happy and excited about life. She enthusiastically leaps after a ball during fetch, though she's a bit puzzled about what to do with it once she catches it. She's also been observed doing some very cute zoomies! Mary Ann has adorable ears that seem permanently set at half-mast, ready for takeoff, and fashionable, sassy, polka-dotted socks.

Ideal Home

Mary Ann is a vigorous dog with potential to be a delightful companion for an active owner or family. Because she jumps for attention and is quite strong, a home with older children only may be best. Mary Ann has been observed getting impressively close to scaling a chain link fence, so adequate containment will likely be important to keep this athletic girl safe.

Mary Ann is spayed and ready to go home with you right away.

Training & Support

Mary Ann is very affectionate and adores snuggles and scritches. She will jump right into your lap—all fifty-two pounds of her, with or without an invite. In general, Mary Ann will benefit from training, including leash training. She keeps her kennel tidy and may already have some house training. We do not have information about her attitude toward cats at this time.
