Tashi

Meet Tashi, a 5-year-old, 14lb Shih Tzu mix who is ready to bring good fortune and endless affection into your life! Tashi is a sweet, shy girl who blossoms with patience and gentle encouragement. She takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, her loyal and affectionate nature shines through. Her foster family has worked hard to socialize her with humans and other animals, including horses! She enjoys car rides, loves treats, and is happy sleeping in her crate at night. Tashi is also potty-trained and does wonderfully on a leash, even enjoying grooming sessions with her trusted humans.

Ideal Home

Tashi would thrive in a quiet home with a single person or a calm couple. She prefers a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to build trust. She also does well with other dogs and cats, so a home with a confident canine companion could be a great fit, but she'd also be content as an only pet. Tashi prefers a home without children under 12 years old.

Tashi is a healthy girl and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Tashi is potty-trained and walks well on a leash. She has learned to trust her foster mom with grooming and enjoys it. Continued positive reinforcement and gentle socialization will help her continue to blossom.
