Lex is a 56lb bundle of pure joy, a pit bull and cattle dog mix with adorable spotted markings and perky ears. She's the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war, always ready for a good time and eager to make new friends, whether human or canine. Lex approaches every interaction with a wagging tail and a huge smile, embodying a perfect companion. She has a spirited play style and enjoys engaging in lively games with other dogs, showing a great ability to read their cues. Lex seems to particularly enjoy playing with confident female dogs and would likely do well in a home with either males or females, as long as they're up for all-day play!
Ideal Home
Lex thrives in an active environment and would do best in a home with a yard. She's looking for an owner familiar with the energy and spirit of cattle dogs, ready for a "wild child" who will bring immense joy. While she hasn't been formally tested with children, her loving nature suggests she'd adore them, especially older kids who can keep up with her playful energy. Lex is not a good fit for homes with cats, as her excitement could be overwhelming for feline friends.

Lex is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Lex is still perfecting her leash manners and can pull a bit when eager to greet new people. She's a smart dog who will train well with consistent guidance.

Lex is currently located in the Houston area, Texas. We offer nationwide transport for an additional fee. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
